Devon batted first an  asolid top order batting display with all the top four making contributions enabled Devon to post an imposing 174-6 from their 35 overs. Giselle Ansley and Celia Hayes added 44 for the first wicket before Celia was out to a decent catch. Giselle got to 26 before being run out and the score was then 65-2. Rebecca Bertrand and Alice Wheatley then added 67 for the 3rd wicket before both fell in quick succession, Rebecca making 38 and Alice 27. Amara Carr then guided the middle order through the last few overs as Devon added another 38 runs to complete their innings.

As is often the case, Devon made early inroads into the visitors batting line up as Giselle and Rebecca Donohue removed both openers cheaply. Rebecca Bertrand claimed 2 wickets fro just 1 run as Dorset slipped to 28-4. Jodie Dibble, Jenny Higgins, Becky Piddock and Vicky Bowden all then bowled tidy spells as wickets continued to fall but it was left to "Donners" to wrap up the tail and ease devon to victory.
