Devon made it to the play off spot for a place in the National Final as they beat Hampshire by 8 wickets at Blundells.

Hampshire won the toss and batted first, four wickets from the opening spell of Donohue and Ansley had Hampshire reeling, Giselle particularly impressive with 3-6 from five overs. Hampshire had to thank Natasha Raine as she grinded out to important partnerships to get Hants to some sort of total. She added 44 for the 5th wicket and a further 30 for the 6th as Hants closed on 141-8, Raine unbeaten on 58. The Devon bowlers stuck to their task well as all bowled tightly on a sticky and humid afternoon. Jodie Dibble and Gabie Clark both picked up 2 wickets.

The Devon opening pair of Celia Hayes and Heather Knight made light of work of chasing down the target as they added 71 for the first wicket in fourteen overs before Celia was trapped lbw. Heather went on to make 58 before being caught with scores level. Giselle completed a fine individual performance as she made an unbeaten 31 to add to her three wickets.
