Devon claim
Festival crown |
With the final day of the Kings Festival washed out Devon claimed the Under 15 Festival crown with a crushing 10 wicket win over Shropshire. Once again the opening attack of Donohue and Dibble was pivotal as they claimed 3 and 2 wickets respectively. Spinner Rebecca Piddock chipped in with wickets but to their credit Shropshire managed to bat out their overs to restrict Devon to three bowling points. With Frances Lausen unable to bat due to an injury sustained when fielding Rebecca Piddock opened up with Vicky Bowden and it was all too easy as the pair added 103 for the first wicket to lead Devon to a comfortable 10 wicket win. |
