PLYMPTON LOSE OUT IN UNDER 15 REGIONAL FINAL
Plympton Under 15 girls emulated their West Devon Under 13 counterparts by claiming the Runners Up spot at the Southern Regional Lady Taverners Indoor competition, held at Bradfield College in Reading. They won their group fairly comfortably against St Augustine School, Taunton and Sandown School from the Isle of Wight. The final however proved a bridge too far as they were beaten by a very good side from Ashley Rowant School, Oxfordshire who progress to the National Finals at Lords on 21st April. Some good individual performances are highlighted in the results sections below. An enjoyable experience for the girls but now the season commences in earnest with their debut in the Devon Womens Cricket League.
