Plympton's Lewis Gregory (left) has been selected, a year young, to play for the England Under 17 side in their game with the Combined Services at Portsmouth on Thursday and Friday 10th /11th July. He was selected in the England winter squad and has now a chance to establish himself in the side and push his cause for future inclusion in the under 19 squad. Representing Devon under 21s and under 17s Gregrory has recently scored 35 against Somerset IIs and 52 against their under 17s. He is on the Somerset Academy with Exmouth's James Burke and Sidmouth's Adam Dibble both of whom will be with him at Loughbourgh, in mid July, where the West of England are aiming to retain the National title they won last summer. |
