Fraser Selected for England

Sandford's James Fraser has been selected in the 15 man England Under 17 squad to play against a European Cricket Academy XI at Loughborough University on Sunday 26th, Monday 27th and Wednesday 29th June. Fraser follows in the footsteps of full international Chris Read in representing England at this level. James has also been selected for the South / West Regional Academy squad to play the other three regions at Loughborough over the 9th/10th/ 11th July. Returning to cricket after his AS levels Fraser  took 3-50 for the Somerset Academy in their narrow win over the Royal Navy and bowled the Devon under 16 prospect Seb Benton on his return to the Sandford league side.
