Bowser Get's Second Team Experience |
|||||
Braunton's Dan Bowser had a busy April when he was given two superb opportunities to further his career in cricket by playing for Somerset II's against Hampshire at Taunton and then he travelled up to Grace Road to play for the Leicestershire II's in two one day friendlies. Unfortunately typical April weather restricted his opportunities with the bat but he did take a catch at cover against Hampshire when the rain relented for a short time. Bowser was the under 16 Devon Batsman and Player of 2004 having scored 311 runs at 51.83. He also scored his maiden county hundred, 120, for the 17s at Seaton against Hertfordshire. His winter has been totally geared towards cricket with successful visits to many first class counties and the CCM Academy. Bowser has a key role to play in Devon Under 17s promotion bid later in the season.
