Devon were catching and fielding well in a very professional performance however thirty-six annoying runs were put on for the eight wicket which was a result of a couple of missed chances with Wakeley the unlucky debutant but Nelson struck and the return of Allin (4-19 off 10) brought a conclusion to proceedings after 38.4 overs with Devon coming out victors by 212 runs. Importantly Devon had demonstrated the attitude throughout the game required to ensure the season reaches a satisfactory conclusion.
