Bovey on familiar territory in Aaron Printers Cup

DEFENDING champions Bovey Tracey 2nd XI are in familiar territory in this season’s Aaron Printers Cup competition.
Bovey, who blitzed Babbacombe in last season’s final thanks to man-of-the-match performance from Dan Green, have been drawn against Abbotskerswell in the first round.
Abbotskerswell know all about Bovey as they lost to them in the semi-final of last season’s competition.
If Bovey clear the first hurdle they will be at home to Babbacombe in the second round.
Barton, the other beaten finalists last season, have a bye in round one and go straight into a second-round tie with Paignton at Queens Park.

First Round: Stoke Gabriel v Shaldon, Dartington & Totnes v Ipplepen (both May 12); South Devon v Chelston & Kingskerswell; May 19: Bovey Tracey v Abbotskerswell (both May 19). Byes: Babbacombe, Barton, Paignton, Torquay.
Second round: May 26: Paignton v Barton, Dartington & Totnes or Ipplepen v Stoke Gabriel or Shaldon (both May 26)
