Bovey looking to stretch lead at top
SAM Wyatt-Haines comes into Bovey Tracey’s side for tomorrow’s top-of –the-table  Premier Division clash with defending champions Sidmouth on the Fortfield.
All-rounder  Wyatt-Haines takes over from James Fulner, who drops down into the second team.
Bovey beat second-placed Exmouth last time out to open up a 15-point lead at the top of the table.
Sidmouth are 19 points further behind and a win over them would strengthen Bovey position no end.
“Having the top two one after the other was always going to be tough – and what we didn’t want was to lose both of them,” said Bovey skipper Peter Bradley.
“By beating Exmouth we made sure that wouldn’t happen and pushed them further behind us,
“Sidmouth are the ones under pressure now as if we go there and win they could be 30 points behind by Saturday night.”
Torquay, away to Bradninch, will hope to carry on where they left off against Budleigh Salterton last time out.
Budleigh were beaten by 10 wickets as Torquay moved up to seventh in the table, two places  and nine points clear of the relegation danger area.
Sidmouth skipper Will Murray had hoped to move on from the defeat at Exeter with a win over Plymouth, but instead came home losers by one run.
Sidmouth haven’t lost back-to-back games in the top flight since they were promoted back into it in 2008.
Said Murray: “I no way to I want to sound conceited, but we aren’t used to losing.
“We aren’t used to having to comeback from a defeat, never mind to, and perhaps we didn’t deal with it that well.
“Having said that we couldn’t have got much closer than one run. Five overs had we had no chance, but thanks to some amazing batting by Anthony Griffiths and Scott Barlow we almost did it.”
