SOMERSET have released Adam Dibble to play for Sidmouth today's ECB T20 regional finals day at Frocester.
Devon champions Sidmouth - they were awarded the county title when North Devon declined the chance of a replay after the final was rained off two weeks ago - are up against the hosts in the first game of the day (10 am).
Sidmouth skipper Will Murray has done his homework on Frocester and knows they are a formidable outfit at full-strength.
'Matt Windows and Nick Trainor are both ex-Gloucestershire and Liam Norwell also plays there if he isn't in the 1st XI,' said Murray.
'There are other decent players there - Mike O'Shea who has played for Glamorgan - so we know they are going to be a good side.
'It isn't the first time we have played opposition from the West of England Premier in competitions over the past few seasons, so we have some idea what to expect.'
The second semi-final is between Cornish side Werrington and Welsh champs Sully.
'If we get through we know quite a bit about Werrington as we play them most pre-seasons in a warm-up match,' said Murray.
'It doesn't really matter who you play at this stage of the competition as whoever it is will be good,'
Sidmouth have been allowed to rearrange their Devon Cup semi-final against Plymouth, which was due to be played to day on the Fortfield.
The Fortfield isn't available next Sunday as Devon are playing Oxfordshire there in their final Minor Counties Championship game of the season.
Plymouth were prepared to host the game, but Sidmouth asked competition organisers for a neutral venue and were offered Bovey Tracey instead.
Today's other semi-final between Exmouth and Exeter on the Maer Ground (2 pm) will go ahead as planned.
The final of the Devon Cup will take place at Plymouth's Mount Wise ground on Sunday, August 25 (1 pm).
SEATON and Dartington hope to play it again today in the Corinthian Cup final.
The 16 eight-ball over competition was due to reach a climax last Sunday at Ivybridge, but was postponed due to bad weather.
