HEATHCOAT will be going for the double when they face North Devon at Knightshayes having beaten the Premier leaders at Instow on the first day of the season.
Results have been up and down for Heathcoat since then, including a defeat by lowly Plymouth last time out.
Toby Lochead, the Heathcoat vice-captain, said North Devon have to be respected on recent results but not feared.
“North Devon are obviously the form team in the division - and they deserve credit for that.
“However, we have always done well against them at home.
“We are ready to bounce back from last week’s disappointment of losing to Plymouth and hope to start the back nine with a win.”
Jack Menheneott is back after a going on a canal boat along the river Rhine which will strengthen the bowling attack.
North Devon skipper Barney Huxtable hasn’t forgotten the first-day defeat by Heathcoat, but at lot has changed since then.
“Heathcoat away is a hard place to go and win and our track record there is not great,” said Huxtable.
“The cricket we have been playing has been brilliant lately so if we take the confidence we have gained over the last five weeks into this weekend we will give ourselves a chance of winning.
“We all know what Heathcoat are capable off after they turned us over first game of the season.
“I feel we are a different team to what we were back then and have serious strength in depth.”
