BOVEY Tracey go to Paignton looking to keep the pressure on top two North Devon and Torquay in the Premier table.
“We have only lost two games in the first half and if we improve on that in the second half then we will be right in the mix come the end of the season,” said club captain Andy Fairbairn.
“We want to win again on Saturday to keep the pressure on the top two.”
Bovey beat Exmouth last time out in a low-scoring affair, which Fairbairn felt underlined Bovey’s all-round strength.
“It was hard-fought game against an experienced Exmouth side,” said Fairbairn.
“Matt Golding (50no) and Sam Hickenbottom (4-31) were the stand-out players for us.
“Others chipped in with important contributions like Ryan Bougourd (3-35) who took two big wickets.
“We have 11 players all capable of match-winning performances, which breeds confidence in the team.”
Batter Ben Ayres for youngster George Pitman is the only change to the side.
