HOPE springs eternal for Plympton captain James Carr, who hasn’t given up on winning a game this season.
North Devon are the visitors to Harewood Park tomorrow and arrive on the back of a battting collapse against Torquay.
Plympton tied with Plymouth – the jury remains out on whether they should have won or not – which is as close as they have got to a victory all season.
Plympton may be going down, but Carr remains optimistic they won’t emulate Paignton, who were winless when they crashed out in 2011. It was an excellent match last Saturday, which we should have won but unfortunately managed not to,” said Carr.
“Our performances have been better over the past four weeks, except for the first 15 overs against Bovey
“We are looking forward to North Devon and pushing them all the way, hopefully to get that win.”
David Ackford, Ross Farrer and David Wrench all out. Todd Rossouw, Matt Gregory and Duncan Hefford come in.
