Exeter bump Lammonby and Bess up the order

EXETER will have an eye on the outcome of the Heathcoat-Paignton game, although they are unlikely to slip up against doomed Plympton.

Plympton are down after losing to Exmouth last Saturday and haven’t registered a win all season.

Exeter have probably done enough anyway to ensure their survival,  but skipper Miles Lenygon is taking no chances.

“Win on Saturday and we will be safe,” said Lenygon.

“In the three matches left we want to enjoy ourselves and play well.”

The side is largely unchanged, but Lenygon intends tinkering with the order.

“Tom Lammonby and Dom Bess will get a go higher up to showcase their talents,” said Lenygon.

Ben Abrahams comes in from the U15s for his 1st XI debut.

“We have missed have two spinners in the side this season ,” said Lenygon, referring to the unexpected retirement of Adam Gribble back in May.

“We hope Ben can gain a lot over the next few weeks and be in a position next year to really contribute.

“Ben has impressed in the 2nd XI this year and deserves a go.”
