No pressure on Heathcoat says Lochead

HEATHCOAT can banish their relegation worries once and for all by beating Paignton at Knightshayes.

Plympton are already down and either Paignton (139pts), Heathcoat (165) or Exeter (167) will be going with them.

If Heathcoat do beat Paignton they could be 40-plus points ahead with 40 to play for.

Vice-captain Toby Lochead said the mood in the camp is relaxed as the pressure isn’t on Heathcoat.

“As we are 26 points clear, the pressure is on Paignton as if we win we are safe,” said Lochead.

“We will not be underestimating them as they obviously have some good players.

“Dan Wolf has scored a lot of runs this year and Rob Shergold is taking wickets.

“We know that if we play like we did against Sidmouth last Saturday we will win the game.

“It's about consistency with us this year as that has been our problem.”

Dylan Penberthy returns in the early order for Heathcoat.
