EXMOUTH will be using the game against Bovey on the Maer as their last warm-up for the NatWest ECB T20 finals in Cardiff on Tuesday.
Skipper Gary Chappell rested a couple of players against Plymouth last Saturday to keep them fresh.
With the 2nd XI in potential relegation danger in their division – they need five points against doomed Sandford to be absolutely safe – Chappell is won’t be burgling the 2nd XI again.
“The team that plays against Bovey will be virtually the same one we are taking to Cardiff,” said Chappell.
“Ian Bishop comes in for the finals for Marquis Clarke, who isn’t allowed to play as he is an overseas player.
“Bish can’t play against Bovey so Jack England will step in for that one.
“Richard Baggs and Jon Evennett are back this week and will do the jobs they have for the final.
“Marquis will play in the second team, just to give them a helping hand in a game they really need to win.”
Exmouth still have space on the bus to Cardiff next Tuesday for the finals.
The coach leaves at 7am from the club with a planned stop at Exeter Services to pick up more passengers.
