ALL-rounder Ross Acton went away from Bradninch’s awards evening with three trophies.
Acton won the 1st XI bowling award, also picked up the 1st XI players’ player honour - and was presented with a framed certificate as winner of the 1st XI Champagne Moment.
Acton made his maiden league century and performed a hat-trick in the same game, which was at home to Budleigh.
Acton made 471 league runs and took 27 league wickets.
Charlie Walker was named the 1st XI batsman of the year. Walker scored 581 league runs at an average of 44.69.
In the 2nd XI skipper Chris Acton won the batting award for an aggregate of 454 runs at an average of 34.92.
Will Birley, who is only 16, was the second leading wicket taker in the 2nd XI B Division East with 27 scalps and comfortably won the bowling award.
Club chairman Derrick Foan claimed 2nd XI players’ player award and 16-year-old Ryan Shrewsberry picked up the 2nd XI Champagne Moment award for his catch in the home meeting with Sidmouth 3rd XI.
Bryn Jones was presented with a framed certificate in acknowledgement of his maiden league ton during the season.
Natalie Hunt, who has been a godsend to the club’s youth department since joining at the start of the season, was named club person of the year.
