EXETER visit Plympton for a must-win clash in their fight to get out of the bottom two.
Last Saturday;s drubbing by North Devon leaves the city side one off the bottom. Only Plympton are below them.
Despite their perilous position, skipper Miles Lenygon is staying calm.
“We've just got to stay positive,” said Lenygon.
“We have been in winning positions in most of our games but just lost the key moments.
“We aren't going to panic yet, there are 12 games of cricket to go and we will sort it out.”
Meanwhile, Exeter are getting used to the idea veteran spinner Adam Gribble may have played his last game for the club.
Gribble has been with Exeter for more than 10 years having previously been with Bovey Tracey.
He has not played since the first weeks of the season and has hinted it is time to call it a day.
In form Duncan Hefford comes in for Plympton, who need a win after going six games without one.
“Duncan has played for three seasons but has played last two 2nd XI matches and scored 73 and 95,” said skipper James Carr.
“What we need right now is someone who is confident and scored some runs so he is in!
“We are letting ourselves down massively at the moment with our batting, we need to get it right to have a chance of winning a match.”
Ollie Mulberry is in for Dom Mulberry. Hefford replaces Owen Gannon.
