ABBOTSKERSWELL are through to the Brockman Cup final for the second year running after beating near neighbours Ipplepen by eight wickets in the first semi-final.
Marcus Green clubbed 48 against his old team and Simon Tapley 34 in a total of 119 for seven.
Connor Adams (2-26) and Charlie Hill (2-7) led the bowling effort.
Hill stroked 67 and Gareth Penrice chipped in with 34 not out as Abbots won with an over to go.
Waiting for Abbots are old rivals Paignton, who overcame Brixham by 12 runs in the second semi-final.
Jason Woodcock led the way for Paignton with 60 at the top of the order as they amassed 138 for six in their 20 overs.
Dan Wolf followed his record-breaking antics in the previous round at South Devon – a competition best of 144 not out - with a more modest 20.
The next best was veteran Mark Ashworth with 16 not out.
Craig Eaves (2-28) was the only Brixham bowler to take more than one wicket.
Brixham lost Joel Ashworth almost immediately, but Eaves (46) and Mike Meech (made a significant dent in the target.
The middle order failed to fire though and mean spells from Wolf (2-17), Chris Slough (1-19) and Toby Medlock (1-21) kept the lid on.
Harry Ward (0-35) took a bit of punishment, but with Tom Blundell (3-27) among the wickets Paignton slowed to 126 for seven.
