Devon Cricket Board - Holders bow out of Brockman Cup

HOLDERS Dartington & Totnes are out of the Brockman Cup following a 14-run defeat by Ipplepen.
Pens lost opener Callum King for no score, but steamed away with Tom Crocker hitting 34 and Marcus Green 46.
Adam Peters added another 46 as Pens reached 144 for four in their 20 overs.
Mick Rusling’s four overs for 21 were as cheap as it got for D&T.
Pens were a bit too smart in the bowling department for D&T with Jack Wylie (0-13) and James Wotton (0-25) squeezing from the start.
D&T made some progress – Mike Jarvis hit 25 and Matt Haw 23 – but the introduction of Marcus Green (2-14) slowed them down.
Adam Huxtable (29) and James Howrihane (29) upped the pace in the later overs, but the clock was against D&T, who were 130 for six when time ran out.
