All Clubs are reminded of the need to have a currently trained Club Welfare Officer as it is a condition of membership of the Devon Cricket League.
Courses for Club Welfare Officers are presently being promoted on the Devon Cricket Website. Three courses have been organised in locations around the county and will run in December. A booking form is available on the landing page.
The training accreditation lasts for three years and clubs are asked to check whether their Club Welfare Officer is currently trained. It cannot be assumed that because a club presently hold the Clubmark Accreditation that their Welfare Officer is currently trained. Volunteer Club Welfare Officers change over time and it is important that clubs check to ensure that training needs are addressed.
