2012 Club Seminar
Over 200 delegates from more than 55 clubs attended the recent DCB Ltd Club Seminar.  Hosted at the University of Exeter, everyone in attendance was able to listen to a variety of presentations on key areas associated with cricket development.  Regional and National ECB staff were on hand to present, offer advice and answer questions. 
 
 
The evening began with a reveiw of the past 18 months in Devon cricket as well as a look towards the aims and objectives for the Devon Cricket Board over the next 5 years.  Presentations to the entire audience included 'Community Cricket Leagues' (Ally Jarvis - ECB Participation & Volunteering), Umpiring and Scoring (Gavin Lane - DACO), Women & Girls ( Caroline Atkins - Chane to Shine and Liam Brown - ECB Women & Girls) and Groundsmanship (Charlie Woolnough - DCGA).  Please click on these links for copies of the slides shown.  For further details please see contact information below:

Facilities:  Chris Whitaker (ECB Funding & Facilities) and Ally Jarvis provided guidance on how to develop a project from concept to completion and Natwest CricketForce.

Groundsmanship:  Charlie Woolnough (DCGA Chairman & ECB Pitch Adviser) facilitated a question and answer session on pre-season and early season preparation.
