OUR league chairman, Stuart Munday, has recently undergone successful surgery in Derriford Hospital.
He has been given a new MOT by his
consultant – and is threatening to ‘come in off his long run’ once the 2016
season gets under way.
During his time in hospital Stuart, and wife Wendy, have been overwhelmed by the number of people wishing him a full and speedy recovery.
The messages have been so numerous and heartfelt that Stuart has asked me to issue this proclamation through the pages of the Devon Cricket website.
Both of them really appreciate the concern shown by so many people both inside and outside the world of cricket.
In Stuart’s ‘world’ the word convalescence does not exist – therefore expect him to be making contact with you all before too long!
