Twenty20 regional finals update

 

 Tavistock and Lewdown before the final of the West Devon Premiership
 
 
IT’S all coming together in the Devon T20 Cup as the regional competitions reach their climaxes.
The Thomas Trophies Teignbridge T20 final was due to be played last night when Shaldon were playing Chudleigh.

The winners of that match are due at Brixham on Wednesday, July 17  to play Pro-Direct Torbay T20 winners Torquay, who won their group without losing a match.

There is some tidying up to be done in the East Devon & Exeter Competition, where two quarter-finals are outstanding.

Exmouth were due to play Alphington in a rearranged game last night while Exeter host Sandford at the County Ground tomorrow (Friday).

The East Devon finals are being played at Heathcoat CC this Sunday.,

First on at 11am are Sidmouth, who will play either Exeter or Sandford.

The second semi-final  at 1.30pm is between host club Heathcoat and Exmouth or Alphington.

The final is due to take place around 4.30.

Through to the North Devon T20 final are North Devon and Hatherleigh, who will settle their differences at Barnstaple & Pilton tomorrow (Friday) night.

Tavistock are through in the West Devon Mini-League having defeated Lewdown last Sunday.

They will play the winners of the Ivor Dewdney Pasties Plymouth T20 which is being played-off at Ivybridge this Sunday.

Plympton play Plymstock at 11am in the Plate final. Plymouth and Cornwood square up in the main final at 2.30.

Once the West Devon and Plymouth regional final is played out, and the South Devon winner decided, four teams will go through to finals day at Exeter on Sunday, July 28.
