Devon Cricket Board - Lammonby batters Oxfordshire into submission

DEVON Under-15s continued their winning ways with a comprehensive defeat of Oxfordshire in their latest ECB Championship game.
Oxfordshire batted first in the picturesque setting of Magdalen College School and found runs hard to come by in the face of tight bowling from the Devon bowlers.
As the pressure mounted, wickets began to tumble and Oxford found themselves in real trouble.
Skipper Tom Lammonby (3-10), Matthew Parker (3-13) and Chris Yabsley (3-15) led the way as the hosts were dismissed for 105.
Devon lost openers James Bovey and Jamie Khan early on. But Lammonby continued with his rich vein of form with an undefeated 75 and put on 80 runs for the second wicket with Sam Maunder (18no).
Devon crossed the winning line after just 27 overs with eight wickets in hand.
