TORQUAY 2nd XI breezed past Stoke Gabriel by five wickets with two overs to spare to book a place in tonight’s Aaron Printers Cup final at South Devon CC.
Waiting for Torquay at Newton Abbot (6.15pm) are Dartington & Totnes, who are appearing in their fourth successive cup final
Kris Davis wacked 52 against his former club as Stoke made 121 for nine in their 20 overs.
Ben Robinson chipped in with 23 and there were a brace of 10s for Bill Alcock and Jake Robinson.
The wickets were shared around with two each for Tim Francis (2-15), veteran Ian Baker (2-28) and Andrew Francis (2-28),
Tom Marrow (19) and Josh Hunt (18) got Torquay off to a 30-run start, then Neal Osborne (37no) took them the rest of the way there.
Jack Tolley (2-28) and Ben Robinson (2-20) were the leading Stoke wicket-takers.
