TONIGHT’S T20 benefit game between Abbotskerswell and Somerset had been called off due to bad weather.The game was part of the benefit season events lined up for Somerst star Arul Suppiah.
Among the beneficiaries of the game were the South West Children’s Hospice in North Devon.
Although the game is off tonight, it has not been cancelled.
“The game will be rescheduled later in the summer, when all programmes will be valid for ground entry,” said Abbots’ captain Richard Acton.
The game might be off, but the planned social evening to go with it remains on.
“There will be an informal social event this evening starting at 4pm attended by Arul Suppiah from Somerset. Everyone is welcome to attend,” said Acton.
