BARTON 2nd XI ended the season on a winning note when they routed Braunton by 129 runs.
Martin Powell hit 60 not out in Barton’s 169 for five – and Adam Last 56 on his way to a man-of-the-match performance.
Last then collected seven wickets for nine runs as Brauton were packed of for 40.
Chudleigh, already sure of promotion as runners-up behind Sandford, won a low-scoring game against Hathereleigh by 50 runs;
Richard Tidball took five for 38 as Chudleigh were bowled out for 105 – no one making more than Sean Newland or Paul Horne with a brace of 17.
Matt Ball (6-34) and Graeme Wilson (3-19) turned the tables on 10-man Hatherleigh, shooting them out for 55.
Stoke Gabriel, resigned to relegation, won the basement battle with Budleigh, who are going down with them.
Kai Horsburgh took six for 30 as Budleigh were bowled for 165 – Ben Carter (45) top scoring. Rob Baker (54) and Paul Collings (56no) took Stoke to an eight-wicket win.
Phil Barrow took six for 30 on his last game for Plymouth after 26 seasons and nearly 500 wickets in the three-wicket win over Heathcoat.
Gary Newall fired an unbeaten 88 as Bradninch beat champions Sandford by six wickets.
