Heathcoat collapsed from 22 for none to 57 for nine and were all out for 80 with Matty Ball (5-35) and Graeme Wilson (4-24) doing the damage.

Barton thought they had done the hard bit by bowling Plymouth out for 127 – Pete Gartrell (5-29) in the thick of it – which proves just how wrong you can be!

For Martin Gill (4-10), Jamie Bell (2-20), Dan Godfrey (2-20) and Phil Barrow (2-42) skittled Barton for 100 in reply.

Barton had been 48 for three in reply – Martin Powell (26) but lost three wickets on 81 and never recovered.
