SIDMOUTH CC’s latest fund-raising drive looks like just the ticket!
Fund-raiser in chief Steve Chilcott has acquired tickets for a host of shows heading for the East Devon area in the months ahead.
Pride of place on the prize list are tickets for two engagements in February by cricket legend Henry Blofeld (below) just a six-hit away from Sidmouth’s ground.
‘Blowers’ – writer, broadcaster and raconteur extraordinaire - is taking his one-man show Shaken not Stirred to the Manor Pavilion in SIdmouth.
Four tickets for the show are are among the prizes in the draw.
Chilcott has also obtained four tickets to join Blofeld for a four-course dinner the night before the show at the Belmont Hotel overlooking Sidmouth’s ground.
And that’s not all…
There are four pairs of tickets to see BBC Antiques Roadshow presenters Paul Atterbury and Hilary Kay in their stage show Have You Had It Long, Madam?
Four tickets for a night of folk roots and acoustic music featuring the excellent Bully Wee Band together with popular local folk outfit Show of Hands together with the highly entertaining Exmouth Shanty Men at the Public Hall, Budleigh Salterton on Friday January 20.
And there is a table for four at the Exeter Comedy Club at Exeter Corn Exchange.
There are tickets to the Radway Cinema in Sidmouth for a family of four for any time, any date and best seats in the house.
Finally, there is a selection of Christmas (and other) puddings from the Ottery-based Georgie Porgie Puddings.
