Bovey through in Aaron Printers Narracott Cup

BOVEY Tracey scraped into the final of the Aaron Printers Narracott Cup by two wickets in a last-over finish against holders Stoke Gabriel on Tuesday night.
Stoke made 128 for five in their 20 overs – Matt Taylor making an unbeaten 49.
Kiwi Phil Barraclough with two for 16 was the pick of the Bovey bowlers.
Bovey’s innings was anchored by opener James Fulner, who made 62.
Dave Bolland (3-33) chipped away at one end, but Delon Mullins (18) and Aren de Young (17) supported Fulner as the target came down.
Bovey needed six to win off the last over with three wickets intact, lost Tom Dyer with two to spare and got home with a couple of balls to spare when Rob Baker bowled a wide!
The outstanding semi-final between Abbotskerswell and Dartington & Totnes, rained off on Monday night, has yet to be re-arranged.
