DUMPLINGS notched up their 15th win in their last match of a successful season against Old Broxfordians at Sidmouth
The Dumplings batted first and rattled along to a total of 242 for 6 in their 40 overs.
Henry Bennett with 30 and Alec Bosomworth laid a sound foundation and the Exeter trio of Bosomworth (87), Graham White (25) and Callum Still (77) added quick runs with Still clouting four sixes into the croquet lawn.
Rob Kerral with 3 for 43 was the Old Boys chief wicket taker with 3 for 43.
The Old Boys made an excellent start to the chase with David Hartley (54) and Michael Hunter (67) sharing a stand of 127 for the first wicket.
However, with that stand broken there was a steady fall of wickets and the innings ended on 180 all out in the 37th over, giving the Dumplings victory by 62 runs.
Still with 3 for 21 off eight overs made the vital inroads and Bennett (4 for 20) and John Meredith (2 for 4) brought about a sudden close, all ten Old Boys wickets falling within 14 overs.
