Craig Overton makes history
  Possible unique in the annuls of the ECB Performance Cricket Department Craig Overton has joined twin Jamie in the England under 19 squad. The North Devon under 18 batting all-rounder’s sterling performances with Somerset twos and attendance with the England Performance Group has earnt his deserved promotion to the full England squad. He had an outstanding summer in North Devon’s championship winning campaign scoring 651 runs at 46.50 and he took 21 wickets.
 
With the full support of West Buckland School the twins will have to mix cricket and A levels this winter taking their text books with them on trips to South Africa in December and then Bangladesh and Abu Dhabi during the first two months of 2012. This is just reward for the hard work put in by two extremely conscientious young cricketers who have been exceptionally well supported by their Club. They are pictured below in 2004 when they played in one of their early games for Devon representing the under tens in an exciting win against Dorset at the Bournemouth Sports Club.
