Devon's young female cricketers take up 24 hour batting challenge
Devon's young female cricketers have embarked on a series of fundraising events to help assist with the cost of travelling to South Africa during March 2016 to take part in the bi-annual Cape Town International Tournament. In addition to the incredible £1100 raised at a recent coffee morning in the village of Kingsnympton, North Devon two further events are planned details of which are below:
 
Friday 08th January the girls will be taking part in a 24 hour batathon at Plymouth College. A just giving page has been set up which gives further information. Prizes have been sourced for highest pledges which include 2 pairs of tickets to a home Exeter Chiefs Premiership rugby fixture. Please read more at:

Saturday 06th February sees Boringdon Park Golf Club host a Fundraising fixture where fourballs will take part representing either individual players or simply taking part to support the tour as a whole. Cost is £30 per per person and again raffle prizes will be available. Fun events will be held both on the driving range and the practice putting green for non golfers who would like to attend and meet some of the touring squad.
