Devon Women v Staffs
Devon women make one change to the side that beat the Netherlands as they entertain Staffordshire at the Fortfield.

Former Whimple player Rebecca Bertrand replaces the injured Emily Ward in the only change with Exeter University student Jessica Rippin making up the 12. Match gets underway at 1100 at Sidmouth on Sunday May 27th.

Devon have a good side this year and are looking to make their mark in Division 2 of the LV Championship.  Playing in her first season for Devon. Rosalie Birch has been highly impressed with her team mates.  Coming off the back of 178 not out this weekend she commented:

“We’ve had a good start to the county season with our win against the Netherlands. The next game will be a tough challenge but we’ve got a talented bunch of players, many of whom are still quite raw, so I hope to continue to bring my experience to the side to help us grow as a successful unit.”

“I’ve been privileged to work with all the Devon girls’ winter squads this year and see the talent coming through. The current women’s side is still very young but there’s an exciting future ahead.”

With players like Jodie Dibble in the squad everyone is looking very positively at the season ahead.  Jodie is currently part of the England Women's Academy.
