Fancy a cricket tour to France?

Damazan Cricket Club in France are in search of clubs from the UK looking to tour in 2016.

Not too many clubs know that cricket is played in France & of course no clubs in England would know that a club called Damazan exists. Your team may well tour in England already & your club may well host touring sides but why not think about touring France?

France is a beautiful country so it's an opportunity to not only play cricket in the sun but to have a complete holiday experience. The team could spend a couple of days touring the countryside, visit a chateau, have an afternoon wine tasting, play golf on an empty course, relax in the sun, take in a little French culture, swim & water ski in the lake next to our ground, etc etc. The £ is strong at the moment against the €, about 1.35, the best it's been for many years.

Damazan play about 20 games each summer of which 4/5 are touring sides. The matches against tourists are always enjoyable so we would like more clubs to come & play. I'm sure you'll enjoy the sun, wine & of course the cricket. Damazan would very much enjoy hosting a match with you in 2016 or beyond. There are 2 other clubs not too far away from us so if you wanted other matches they are available. Damazan is about 1hr 15mins south east of Bordeaux on the motorway to Toulouse.
