Girls Cricket 2015 - What's on offer.................
Girls cricket takes a change of direction in how its delivered in 2015. Devon Cricket conducted two surveys in December; one of Girl Cricketers, and a second of Managers, Coaches, Organisers and parents to find out what the two most important collections of people wanted the girls cricket offer t

Soft Ball Competitions 2015
The Lady Taverners U11s and U13s softball competitions to be run in the same festival day format as previous years on Sundays late in May / Early June. These will be Devons county final and the winners of each will proceed to the regional final to represent Devon in the latter stages of the competition. (Devon county finals date and venue to be confirmed)
The idea behind the new look within the non LTs competition is to hopefully provide some flexibility and within the girls game, and also make it easier to get the girls playing. If you would like to any of the softball competitions in 2015 complete the form below and return to me here at the Devon Cricket Office or email Matt Cooke at matt.cooke@deoncricket.co.uk

The Lady Taverners U13s and 15s T20 competitions are the same as previous years. The competitions are run completely centrally through the ECB. If you would like to enter either of these competitions in 2015 then complete the attached form and return to competitions@ecb.co.uk

In addition to that, Devon Cricket are looking to run a U11s Softball Competition, which will be centrally run in a friendly league format, following the Lady Taverners rules. This format will also be replicated at U13s softball as well. These softball competitions will replace the friendly festivals on a Sundays which last year rather stuttered. These competitions will be left to the clubs to decide when they play, and depending on numbers we could look at a North & East / South & West division but this will be very much dependant on take up.
