Exeter's exciting allrounder Ben Green has been invited by David Graveney to join England's Under 16 Development Programme. In July Green, who attends Exeter School, led the West and Wales Under 15s at the Bunbury Festival in Durham  He won the award as all rounder of the festival. He has played regularly in the Exeter first team and has experienced an exceptional youth summer with the under 15s, 16s and 17s. He took 11-18 in two innings playing for Devon, against the West and Wales Under 15s. Green, featured in a record breaking partnership of 267 with Sidmouth's Dan Powell against Wales Under 17s with both batsman scoring hundreds. Green was out with the job nearly completed for 139. When captaining the fifteens he was out five short of a hundred trying to clear the ropes! Ben is tipped to join the Somerset academy this winter
