FORMER Devon captain Neil Hancock will lead Bovey Tracey in today's ECB regional T20 finals at Pontardulais.
Bovey Tracey scraped past Plymouth by nine runs last Sunday in the Devon T20 final to earn place in the West and Wales play-off.
Welsh champions Sully Centurions take on Bristol at 10.30am in the first semi-final with Bovey in action against St Just in the second. The final is scheduled for 10.30am.
The winners will go through to the national final at Edgbaston on August 19.
Bovey have a problem today as three members of the side that beat Plymouth - club skipper Peter Bradley, brother Chris and Ryan Bougourd - are all playing for Devon against Dorset at Exeter.
Hancock is no longer part of the county set up and the obvious choice to lead the team in Peter Bradley's absence.
Bradley said the club is strong all-round in the shortest form of the game and the players replacing the Devon trio won't be making up the numbers.
'Our 2nd XI won the Aaron Printers T20 Narracott Cup on Tuesday night with a pretty convincing display against Dartington & Totnes .
'James Fulner did really well in that game and is one of the players we have brought in.
'Charlie Carter, another T20 specialist, was unavailable against Plymouth in the Devon Cup final but is back to Pontarddulais.
'It only needs a couple of players to come off big to win at T20 game and I think we have them.'
