Interested in girls cricket?
After a fantastic festival of cricket last Monday congratulations goes to South Dartmoor Community College Under 13s girls who will now go on and represent Devon in the regional final at Bristol University of West of England on Tuesday 23rd April. The South Dartmoor Girls won the Devon competition by going undefeated throughout all the group stages and even through the cup competition plus a closely contested final with Plymouth College Under 13s. South Dartmoor came out on top in this contest, winning by the narrow margin of 8 runs.
The DCB now look forwards to next Monday when the Lady Taverners Under 15s girls competition is being hosted and run at Exeter University. We are exceptionally lucky for this finals day to have England Womens captain Charlotte Edwards in attendance for the day. She will be here for the whole day helping with the prize giving but will also be there to offer some pearls of wisom to the girls and help them with there games.
