Quartley cracks ton in Aaron Printers Narracott Cup
 

MATT Quartley carried his bat for an unbeaten century as Ipplepen defeated Shaldon by 17 runs in an Aaron Printers Narracott Cup tie.

Quartley, who opened up, hit 12 fours and four sixes in Pens’ total of 150 for one.

Shaldon were 133 for six in reply with Seamus McKenna top scoring on 53.

Dartington & Totnes were given a walkover by Chelston on Tuesday as the Torquay side had team-raising problem.

D&T are due to face Stoke Gabriel tonight (Thursday) in the second round. Also playing tonight are Torquay, who entertain Barton.

Ipplepen 150-1 (M Quartley 103no, J Lewis 32no), Shaldon 133-6 (S McKenna 53, M Couch 21). Ipplepen bt Shaldon by 17 runs.
