Last few places left at performance director seminar

THERE are still a couple of places left at the seminar being delivered in Exeter tomorrow (October 20) by ECB performance director David Parsons.

Parsons runs the England Lions, whose job is to identify and develop the next generation of international cricket cricketers.

The recently fromed Devon Lions, whose patron is England team director Andy Flower, has been set up to do just the same to ensure all young players in the Devon League feel they have an opportunity of representing their county at senior level.

Devon CCC, last season’s Minor Counties Champions, have teamed up with premier business partner Ashford’s solicitors in Exeter to make the event possible.

“We are very grateful to David for giving up his time during a particularly busy period preparing the England Lions for their trip to India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka in the New Year,” said Devon’s chief executive Neil Gamble.

The seminar will take place at Ashfords Solicitors, Grenadier Road, Exeter on Thursday, October 20 between 6-8pm. Following his address, Parsons will take part in a question-and-answer session.

For tickets, respond by e-mail with your name and the name of your guest, together with the organisation represented, to neilgamble@devoncountycricket.com.
