ROB Williams and Shaun Langford both his half-centuries as Exeter crushed Plymouth by eight wickets to stay top of the Premier Division,
Matt Williamson took seven for 37 as Plymouth faded from 88 for one to 157 for eight, Harry Stephenson top scoring on 3.
Williams (79no) and Langford (50) knocked off the runs to keep Exeter 11 points clear of Sidmouth at the top.
Sidmouth score an embarrassingly easy nine-wicket win over Plympton, who were skittled out for 55 by Dom Bess (4-10), Charlie Dibble (3-12) and Nick Mansfield (2-8).
Ten overs were all Matt Hewer (37no) and Will Sobczak (19) needed to wrap up victory.
Paignton 2nd XI were bowled out for 62 against Bovey Tracey with Charlie Hill pressing his case for a 1st XI recall by taking six for 28.
Ben Roberts and James Mason had two wickets each on a dire day for Paignton.
Richard Longstreet (16) helped Bovey to victory by five wickets.
“We were finished by half past three and it did seem a bit odd being in the shower that early,” said Bovey captain Mason.
Exmouth moved away from the wrong end of the table by beating bottom side Tavistock.
Stuart Rintoul (73) and Lawrence Greenway (87) put on 82 for Exmouth’s third wicket ina useful total of 254 for eight.
Greenway (4-41) then led the bowling assault, but Tavistock hung on until three overs to go when top scorer Josh Stephens (80) was the last man out at 161.
North Devon remain one off the bottom of the Premier Division 2nd XI competition after losing by 10 runs to Cornwood.
Cornwood eventually got to 167 all out – they were 105 for six - thanks to 29 from Duncan Boase and 25 from Luke Richardson.
Bowling wise the damage was done by Joe Kelly (3-36) and Sam Witheridge (4-39).
Chris Elliott (20) and Scott Amos (26) helped North Devon reach 140 for seven with five overs to go as the game reached a thrilling climax.
Wickets tumbled to 12-year-old Matt Petherbridge, he isn't 13 until August, who finished with six for 31 as North Devon were bowled out for 157 with two balls left in the match.
