Relegation worrriers Exmouth moved within five points of safety at the bottom of the table courtesy of a 122-run win over doomed Tavistock.
Ollie Dawe (65) and Richard Arnold (43) put in 85 for the second wicket and Mike Collinge (33) chipped in towards a total of 246 for nine.
Tavvy’s high spot was a six for 63 haul for Simon Gliddon.
Tavistock collapsed to 36 for six – Sean Butler (4-18) and Matt Tarry (2-27) doing the damage – and despite a recovery led by Gliddon (35) and Sam Willetts (23) they were all out for 124.
North Devon held on for a draw at Cornwood with their last pair at the crease.
