BOVEY Tracey opened up a 16-point lead at the top of the Premier Division table after handing out an 85-run hiding to previously unbeaten Bradninch.
Something had to give in the clash between the only 100 per cent sides left in the top flight and it proved to be the Bradninch batting that gave way.
Peter Bradley hit a top score of 63 as Bovey were restricted to 184 for eight in their 50 overs - Gary Chappell the pick of the Bradninch bowlers with three for 25.
Bradninch got to 37 without loss in reply - them lost five wickets for seven runs to Peter Bradley (3-20) and Neil Hancock (2-31) and were under the cosh from then on.
James Street (23no) and Joe Webb (22) staged something of a fightback, but spinner Chris Bradley put and end to their fun and went on to take four for 14 as Bradninch were dismissed for 99 inside 26 overs.

Sandford chased down 211 to win against Budleigh Salterton with more than three overs to spare.
