Premier batting record falls twice in same game!
THE Premier Division record books were rewritten three times by the time Plymouth knocked off 369 to win against Budleigh Salterton.

The first record to go was the Premier Division batting record which now belongs to Budleigh's James Burke after slammed the Plymouth attack for 196 off 159 balls with 16 fours and 11 sixes.

Former Exmouth and Devon run-getter Nick Folland set the benchmark in 1989 when he took 188 off Bovey Tracey.

Burke and Bob Dawson (94) racked up 205 for Budleigh's first wicket on the way to a team record score of 368 for three.

The old record of 340 for four was set by Exmouth against Exeter in 2004.

Plymouth weren't daunted by chasing a record score to win -and with James Toms and Jake Luffman both making tons they got there with two balls to spare.

Toms crashed 153 off 138 balls, his second league ton of the season, while Luffman made 115 not out off just 65 balls.

Plymouth got down to the last over from Richard Arnold needing 11 to win and got them in four balls.
