DARTINGTON & Totnes stormed into the Brockman Cup final on Monday night with a hefty 40-run win over Ipplepen.
Scott Colgate top scored for Darts with 67 in a total of 146 for four.
Colgate went in after the early demise of Liam Bligh to Jack Wylie (1-14) and had support from surviving opener Mike Jarvis (20) and Tom Petherick (23).
Pens struggled at the start against tight bowling from Andrew Bligh (1-19) and Alex Hartridge (2-20).
Man of the match Colgate turned the screw with two for 11 from four miserly overs – and Mick Rusling (3-15) gave little away either.
Adam Peters had 22 and Tom Crocker 17 in Pens’ 20-over total of 106 for nine.
Waiting in the final for Darts are Abbotskerswell, who had already dispatched Lustleigh by 103 runs.
Charlie Mitchell (60) and Toby Codd (40) got Abbots away to a blistering start with a 95-run stand.
Aron Owen (16) and Tom Andrews (21) both chipped in towards a whopping total of 177 for seven.
Keeping the runs down was a struggled for the Lustleigh bowlers with Mike Brewer (1-50 off four) suffering worst of all.
Lustleigh wers soon on the backfoot with Gerry Starling, Mike Wright and Ollie Blakeman all out cheaply.
Steve Wright made 17, but the fielding side were on top, helped by a clutch of run-outs.
There were two wickets each for Raghav Pratap (2-14), Matt Beasant (2-5) and James McMurray (2-3) as Lustleigh were dismissed for 74.
