TORQUAY are top of the table at Christmas by a nine-point margin after making it ten wins on the trot.
But it was a close-run thing against Paignton, who were only three runs short of victory when time ran out.
Ian Baker (0) was the only batsman to miss out as Torquay amassed 176 with Mark Gilmour (43) top scoring against his old team while Nick Watkin (35), Joe Thompson (28), Matt Thompson (28) and Neal Osborn (26) chipped in.
Dan Wolf (46) and Mark Smith (37) got Paignton close, but not close enough.
Ashley Harvey (56) and Josh Thomas (52) both hit half-centuries in a Dartington & Totnes total of 201 for four against Paignton B. Gavin Colegate (44no) just missed out.
Paignton were a long way short on 141 for three and lost by 60 runs exactly. Tom Blundell (34) and Mark Ashworth (28no) were the leading scorers.
Kingsbridge eased to a three-wicket win over Abbotskerswell when they knocked off the 165 needed with an over to spare.
Karl Beasant (46) led the way for Abbots in their total of 164 for five. James Shepherd picked up two for 32.
Dan Hardy (42) and James Ellis (39) laid the foundations of the chase, leaving it to John Hardy (29no) and Mark Hammett (25) to apply the finishing touches.

CHURSTON overpowered Brixham by three wickets to keep a firm hold on the top spot in Division One.
Brixham found themselves inserted and with one player missing they were all out for 116, most of which were scored by Mark Orchard (50) and Jack Clark (28).
Chris Harrison (27), Vivek Kulkarni (39) and John Tallamy (24) ensured the chase concluded after seven overs.
Ipplepen, second in the table, beat near neighbours Abbotskerswell by three wickets.
Charlie Garrett (43) and Toby Codd (31) helped Abbots reach 146 for two.
Dave Harris was unbeaten on 51 in Pens’ response of 150-3.
Harberton saw off late surge from Kingskerswell to win by 10 runs.
Sam Gornall (32) and Bob Owers (28) had the best of a solid set of scores for Harberton in a total of 165 for two.
Paul Harding (50) and Kevin Jones (30) gave it a whack at the end, but too late to change the outcome.
Paignton C stay rooted to the foot of the table following a 134-run hammering by Stokeinteignhead.
Andy Thornton-Clarke (89), Rob Clarke (67) and Tom Smith (43) steered Stoke to a hefty 224 for three.
