Most of the Torquay coaches have also played for Devon.
Torquay hope to recruiting as many young players as possible to the game.
Section head Joe Thompson, who put together the successful winter coaching programme, and head coach Nick Watkin are appealing for youngsters of all ages, boys and girls, whether they have played the game or not, to turn up to the opening night to find out more.
It is an exciting time for the club with brand new kit for both the juniors and the senior side, new coaching equipment and a brand new on-line membership facility.
“Our vision is to progress junior players of all ages, whatever their ability, so that they can play the game at the highest level possible for them, whether that be 2nd XI, district or at county level,” said Thompson.
If anyone can’t attend on the night but would like to come along at a later date, Thompson can be contacted directly at josephethompson@me.com.
